Issue Position

I believe to have peace on earth we need a strong defense, I believe that we should spend more now to protect our soldiers with armor on each of them and on the equipment they use. I agree we should invest in new technology so we as a nation are always ahead of world technology.

I am concerned that the companies that provide our military with all the new technology are first more influential than We The People able to get our government to spend and fight needless wars for their gain. We where Warned by the Presidents after World War II and Korean War about the danger of the War Machine and Military Infrastructure and it is very apparent that with Defense budgets continuing to grow with no concern about our debt or the lack of need for more money that the War Machine has taken Control of our government.

I am concerned also that the companies that provide technology have out sourced to other countries the building of very important parts of our most technologically advanced equipment. Also concerned that these companies are being bought and invested in by foreign groups and countries.

I believe We The People the government of the United States Should own the companies that develop our weapons, to keep the greed of capitalism out of the war machine. This should stop over spending on the largest budget in our government, it should stop the out sourcing of vital parts, technology, and jobs to other countries. This should also keep our war machine technology and companies out of the hands of foreign governments.
